Emir Turajlić is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Emir Turajlic received his Ph.D. degree from Brunel University, U.K., in 2007. He participated in the realization of many national and international projects as well as in the organization of numerous international conferences. His research interests include digital signal processing, speech processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, data compression and electromagnetics.
He has authored numerous conferences and journal articles.

Currently, he teaches the following courses:

Digital signal processing in telecommunications 1,
Digital signal processing in telecommunications 2,
Image and video compression, Television technologies and Channel coding.
