Overall success: The number of points based on general success is a maximum of 20, and is determined by multiplying the average grade from all subjects in all grades, rounded to two decimal places.

Successes in mother tongue, mathematics and physics: The number of points based on success in the subject mother tongue, mathematics and physics is valued at a maximum of 40 points. This number is calculated by first calculating the mean value for the mother tongue and mathematics in all four grades, and for physics in the last two grades in which the candidate had physics. If the candidate did not have any of the subjects in any of the classes, a grade of 0 is taken for that grade. Then the mean value of the grade for these three subjects is calculated, rounded to two decimal places and multiplied by 8.

Results achieved at the entrance exam in mathematics: The entrance exam is valued at a maximum of 40 points, whereby for enrollment in the first year of the first cycle of studies it is necessary to achieve at least 10 points in the entrance exam, while for enrollment in the first year of professional study "Software Development" this exam is not eliminated. The exam is done through a test, in a certified duplicate, of which one copy remains with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, and the other with the candidate. A complete correct answer with a complete and correct procedure carries 2 points. A complete correct answer with an unequivocally incomplete procedure carries 1 point. A task with an unequivocally incorrect procedure carries 0 points, regardless of whether the correct answer is circled or not. The same is true for a task with a rounded incorrect answer, regardless of the procedure. There are no negative points. The number of answers offered for each task in the entrance exam is five. In case it is not possible to organize the entrance exam in the Faculty premises due to the security situation, the entrance exam will be organized online, according to the rules about which potential candidates will be informed in time.

Results achieved in competitions in mathematics, physics and informatics: For one of the places won in local (municipal, city) competitions of high school students, you get:
2 points for winning first place; 1 point for winning second place; 0.5 points for winning third place.

For one of the places won in the cantonal competitions of high school students, the following were awarded:
3 points for winning first place; 2 points for winning second place; 1 point for winning third place.

For one of the places won in the competitions of high school students at the level of the entities and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following were awarded: 4 points for winning first place; 3 points for winning second place; 2 points for winning third place.

For one of the places won in international competitions for high school students, you get:
5 points for winning first place; 4 points for winning second place; 3 points for winning third place.

The total number of points received by the candidate on the basis of the competition is formed on the basis of the sum of points on all results, with scoring only competitions that are officially organized at the municipality, city, canton, entity and Bosnia and Herzegovina. physics and informatics. In addition to the above, the results of the competition called "Review of Technical Creativity", organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, are scored.
